A very "cheesy" snowman`

I can't really remember where I first saw this snowman cheeseball but I have made one every year since I stumbled on the picture of this irresistible appetizer.

This is my cheeseball recipe but you could certainly substitute your own favorite recipe.
Cheese Ball
3 ounces cream cheese                    1 Tablespoon wine
2 Tablespoons butter                       3 Tablespoons onion
8 ounces cheddar cheese                1 teaspoon red pepper
2 Tablespoons milk

Combine all ingredients in a food processor.  Process until smooth.  Make 2 balls, one slightly smaller than the other.  Stack the smaller cheeseball on top of the larger and push a skewer through both to stabilize the snowman.

Cover both cheeseballs with a thin layer of whipped cream cheese.

To decorate the snowman add:

a carrot nose

raisin buttons and eyes

a scarf cut from a "Fruit By the Foot"

pretzel arms

and a fresh thyme wreath on his head.

These snowmen are so cute that your guests may be hesitant to eat him.  Be bold and be the first to sample the snowman cheeseball.  Serve him with your favorite crackers and watch him disappear.

Have a great week.

Bon Appetit!
